Welcome to Mountain Song

• We are a joyful community chorus bringing people together as a musical family. We are an inclusive, secular chorus.

• Singing songs of all styles in engaging performances in Saluda, Hendersonville, Tryon, Rutherfordton NC and beyond. 

• Centered in Saluda but with a regional reach to Tryon, Brevard, Rutherfordton, Hendersonville and even Spartanburg and Traveler's Rest SC. We are only a short drive away from you. Come join our musical family!

• Open to all singers, age 16 and above, who can sing their part in four-part choir music. You don't have to read music or sing solos. (We do require an informal vocal interview with a director to hear your vocal tone and make sure you can sing your part. We promise not to intimidate you, so don't let this keep you from coming.)

• NOTE: THIS START DATE IS ONE WEEK EARLIER THAN ORIGINALLY ANNOUNCED!

• Weekly rehearsals each Monday from 6:30 to 8pm at the Saluda Center, 64 Greenville St. Saluda North Carolina. One block up the hill from Main Street shops and restaurants, on the left.

• Mountain Song Spring Concerts are made possible through a Grassroots Arts Program Grant from the NC Arts Commission.

• Two Spring Concerts: Thursday evening, May 1 in Rutherfordton; Sunday afternoon, May 4 in Saluda. 

• PLUS, an informal outdoor concert Saturday, May 17 for the Saluda Arts Festival in the courtyard behind the Visitors' Center.
